Neil Simon Theatre tickets & upcoming events

The Neil Simon Theatre is a true icon nestled in the heart of New York City’s bustling Broadway district. Its marquee, bright and inviting, is almost as famous as the shows it hosts. I mean, who hasn't snapped a pic in front of it or just admired how it lights up the skyline at night? This venue has a rich history, debuting classics like Lost in Yonkers back in 1991, a play that snagged the Pulitzer Prize and really put the theatre on the map. Over the years, it’s been a playground for creative staging, think interactive performances that make you feel part of the show, not just an audience member. Remember the premiere of The Star-Spangled Girl in 1966? That was a big deal for Neil Simon’s early success. If you're seated in the Front Mezzanine, you’re in for a treat, you get a clear view of the actors’ expressions and all those tiny stage details that really make a performance pop. And honestly, from there, it’s easy to soak in the whole vibe of the show. If you’re coming from the Belasco Theatre, just a quick walk west on 52nd Street and you’re there. Or if you’re near the Richard Rodgers, head south and you'll find yourself right at its doorstep. The Neil Simon Theatre isn’t just about seeing a show; it’s about experiencing Broadway magic up close. Plus, if you’re into volunteering or just want to get more involved, they often team up with local vendors during shows, making each visit even more special. Planning your visit? Use their seating chart to pick the perfect spot, whether you want to get close to the action with front-row seats, indulge in the luxury of VIP sections, or snag budget-friendly options, there’s something for everyone. Honestly, missing out on the upcoming shows here would be a real shame because this theatre always delivers unforgettable moments.
